Question / Help Can't add webcam

If your webcam is not displaying video in OBS, try setting the resolution and FPS to something known that the camera supports. Go to the Video Capture Device properties, change Resolution/FPS Type from Device Default to Custom, and then set the options accordingly.

It's still not working I have a logitech c920 and there's still the red point in the top left corner:/

I also use the c920 and found that if you disable the LWS software process in Task Manager and then restart OBS it worked...If that works you can then disable the auto-start of LWS in task manager so it doesn't auto start when booting up your computer.

Try what Fenrir suggested also.

It still Not working please update obs before i havent got any problems just now:/ i cant stream that sucks

I have the same problem. I have a new Logitech C920 with windows 10 64bit. Works fine with Logitech software. Fresh install of OBS and I cannot get a display in the window for the webcam. I've read the posts. Different USB ports do not help. USB2 vs USB3 does not help. Changing resolution and FPS does not help. It is impossible to get a picture displayed. Any help would be appreciated.

try a different usb port, try to reinstall logitech drivers, delete webcam capture on obs, restart computer, create new webcam capture on obs. only thing i can think of

Disable their webcam protection. It's known to cause issues, and they don't understand widely used digitally signed applications like OBS.
