Hi,
I own a Canon 200d. As I couldn't use it as webcam, I contacted Canon if they could provide a proper driver. But they answered there's no driver neede as long as Windows 10 supports PictureTransferProtocoll.
Good they're using standards, but I couldn't find any helpful info how to import this into OBS.
I'd like to know how to online stream the canon video.

Any ideas?

DSLRs can't be used as webcams over USB. You will need a capture card, like an Elgato Camlink.

Before you buy one, plug your camera into a TV's HDMI port, and make sure that the video it's sending out is 'clean'; that it doesn't include the UI overlay. Many Canon cameras do not put out 'clean' HDMI, and are unsuitable for use. Some can install custom firmware like MagicLantern to correct this, but it's model-dependent.

Wow. Canon's DSLRs are so expensive. But even a 5 bucks webcam can do better :D
So I'll forget about streaming my DSLR. I'm going to use another cam, that natively supports webcamfeatures (quess a Yi 4k+ should do).

Thanks for your help ;)
