Question / Help Cannot view desktop? [resolved]

I have not had any issues before hand with this software I love it but I just reformatted my PC for a new clean install of windows 7 pro and now when resetting up OBS when i set it up for desktop it will see everything else (webcams music anything i have added in) but the screen is black and only see the mouse pointer can see everything else but my desktop not sure why? any help?

Make sure your drivers are up to date. Make sure to have the directx redist installed: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... px?id=8109

Make sure windows is fully up-to-date in windows update.

If none of that helps post a log file.

Fixed this needed to reactivate my windows and do one update now it works fine sorry!
