Question / Help Cannot Update OBS!

I keep getting this error when trying to update...

"obs studio update failed couldn't load manifest file"

Can somebody please point me to a fix?

I'm trying to use zoom and virtual cam and nothing is working!

You can just download the latest from obsproject.com and install it over the top of the existing installation. Don't uninstall the old one. You won't lose any settings, they're stored elsewhere.

Thank you... I'm very much a newb at this. Will it automatically install over the old one?

It should default to the same install location if installed originally to the default. It may ask for confirmation to overwrite the existing files; just say yes.
