Recently I downloaded OBS to try and start streaming. When I chose my Source, the screen just stayed black instead of recording the application I chose. I believe this is the 'Black Screen Glitch', and tried many different things in order to try to fix it (e.g. restarting OBS, deleting and remaking the source, restarting my PC, Etc.), none of which had worked. I decided to uninstall and reinstall it to see if it that will work.
The one problem is that after 'uninstalling' OBS from the control panel, OBS was still in my PC. The OBS window was still open (probably should've close it first), the shortcut was still there, and both 32 and 64-bit versions were still in my start menu. Clicking the 32-bit made an error message saying "Failed to load local/en-US.ini" (plus another one right after simply saying "Failed to load Local"), while the 64-bit had another message (that I forgot to write down) that allowed me to delete the 64-bit version from my computer.
In the Uninstall page of my control panel, OBS is completely missing.
What is the cause of the problem and how do I fix this?
PS: this is a slightly different problem, but back when I first downloaded OBS, I tried to open the 64-bit first. It came with the msvcr120.dll missing error (4 times). I then tried opening the 32-bit, and it worked like normal. I didn't think to much about it since I thought that my computer was simply not compatible with the 64-bit, but after looking around and trying to fix the BSG, I noticed that my computer was indeed 64-bit. IDK if this would be connected, but it does seem odd.
PSS: how do you make a Log File?
