Bug Report Cannot STREAM!

Hi--I have a channel on Vaughn Live TV which streams thru OBS--up until 1:30AM (ET) today, It was fine--then started having disconnect/re-connect issues intermittently for the better part of an hour when I suddenly realized that I could NOT STREAM at all! What I mean is that I could not access my channel thru any browser because the OBS was not Streaming--I would get various error messages (see attachments) and the one thing that was obvious was in the lower right hand corner of OBS where it says kb/s it was CONSTANTLY 0--have checked my settings repeatedly--even tried to update the OBS--but to no avail--to say I am at my wit's end is an understatement. Despite numerous emails complaining to Vaughn Live--I have only received ONE response --saying it was not y channel alone--but others--yet when I check other channels, they're up & running while mine "sits"! Anybody else here having that issue or know of the issue--is it me--or is it widespread--and if so, HOW are there other channels "up & running"?

Any help/info would be GREATLY appreciated

Try resetting OBS:
  • Click Start
  • Click Run
  • Type %AppData%\OBS
  • Empty that folder, without OBS running obviously.
Then simply set everything up again. If that does not fix it, it's not OBS. Try resetting your stream key, if there is such an option with Vaughn Live.

That DID IT!! Thanks Very Much!! Now can I get an idea as to what happened that I literally had to start from "scratch"? (Good thing I kept the Vaughn Live Video for "set-up") :)

You shouldn't have had to start from scratch for this. I actually disagree with kharay's solution here, I think that you must have just entered in the stream key incorrectly or incompletely the first time you tried, and then after you cleared all of OBS' settings you just entered it in correctly the second time. That would be the most logical conclusion. Besides, all the settings for OBS are stored in text.

It worked, did it not? No harm, no foul, OP is actually streaming again. Everybody wins. And, as I tried explaining several times now, as much as you guys developing OBS rock, which you do -- you do have some issues with deprecated settings creeping up here and there. Tested, tried and resolved with resets.
