Question / Help Cannot record

I cannot record. Black screen appears please help me. I have uploaded a log file!

Go OBS Output category
Set output mode to Simple

In the Recording section:

Recording Quality: Use either Indistinguishable or High Quality (for your system, High quality would probably be best since you dont have a strong system)
Recording Format: mp4, mkv or flv
Encoder: x264 if you have a good powerful CPU or NVENC if your GPU supports it (I dont think 940M supports NVENC though)

If you choose mkv or flv, you'll need to convert. You can use Handbrake for that.

Remove mp4 from the list of recommendations, there are precisely ZERO good reasons to save directly to mp4.

If you choose mkv or flv, you'll need to convert. You can use Handbrake for that.

Wrong. File - Remux recordings, faster, less quality loss.

As for the black screen, you can't use display capture on a switchable graphics laptop/all-in-one while OBS is set to run on the high performance video card. The computer disables it.

so how can i fix the problem? i mean one of my friend has laptop and he uses obs
