Question / Help Cannot record Video

When I go to record with OBS Studio, it will not allow me to record videos. When I hit record it says "Starting the output failed" if you are using AMD or Nvenc make sure your video drivers are up to date. Tjhe video drivers are up to date how can i fix this?

Change your encoder in settings - output to something that isn't nvenc. The GT710 doesn't support it.

i changed it to x264 becuase it was the only one other option available. but it still didn't work o you want me to post another log

Yes, post another log-- the previous log shows failures only related to NVENC support. If you're seeing a similar failure using x264 the cause would be in the logfile.
