So I tried recording my game play and voice separately by following a youtube video, the game play audio was there but my mic audio wasn't, I tried following another video where the guy had a fresh install of OBS, and he did the same thing in the previous video, I don't know why I cant hear my mic when recording both the desktop audio and my voice

PC specs

CPU: Ryzen 7 17k
GPU: RX 480
Headset and mic: Hyper X 2

Either way, open the file in VLC or MPC-HC, if multi track recorded properly you will be able to select them.

You really should have both on track 1 though, then separate them on track 2 and 3. Make sure you have Track 1,2 and 3 selected in Recording. Streaming defaults to Track 1

Mic + Desktop Track 1.
Mic Track 2
Desktop Track 3

Yeah I did that, there is a update now so hopefully it fixes what ever my problem is, meanwhile know a good mic? The best mic I heard on a headset was on a Turtle Beach X12, I then had a Corsair but the mic was super quite, now I am using a Hyper X 2, but the mic is also really quite, and it seems worse than the Turtle Beach X12, if it helps the Turtle Beach X12 had 192000, in the windows microphone properties, it sounded really clear, but now on my Hyper X 2, its quite but also picks up breathing when I talk...

Tried using old mic, still can't hear both tracks, also in oBS, it shows that I am talking, but when I review the audio in windows I only hear 1 track, either the mic or the desktop depending on what number track they are set on.

OK, so it still doesn't work, only reason it worked before is because I was not actually recording the mic and and audio separately, I tried uninstalling and re-installing OBS around 3 times now, I tried following videos but I still don't know why this won't work, please help
