Question / Help Cannot open large MP4 files from OBS with any program

I've recently been having a problem opening large files saved from OBS. I've tried looking through other forums and cannot find a solution. I've tried opening the files in multiple different programs including VLC. Smaller files ~10 minutes or less will play but anything longer will save as a file that cannot open. All files that cannot be opened claim to be 3.99 GB (though i'm sure they aren't). If it helps, i'm using windows 10 :( I've also attempted to factory reset my computer and uninstall/reinstall the program.

The drive you're saving to is FAT32?
If so, you're hitting the per-file 4GB limit. Because of how MP4s get finalized, the mp4s you have that exceed that limit are unrecoverable.

Save to FLV instead.

THANK YOU! I was exporting it to a 2TB external drive. It was a FAT32 drive. I recorded a video and saved it to the main drive and it worked.
