Cannot hear my own voice in Hyperx cloud 2

I am unable to hear my own voice in Hyperx cloud 2 while setting audio monitoring to monitor and output. When i first connected my headphones, the computer recognised it as a speaker. The microphone is working fine and my voice can be heard on my stream too but i cannot hear my own voice in the obs for testing and filtering purpose. How can i fix this ?

Make sure that in OBS audio settings you have actually set the headphones for monitoring.
