Cannot edit ptz plugin control camera device name

Hi,

I installed two new PTZ cameras and in my haste misnamed them in the process of setting the up.
So I would like to edit those two names to avoid confusion during use.
I have researched it until I'm blue in the face and still can't get to it. Must be buried somewhere--I would appreciate any ideas? T Y

Hello Panonut; Gschlueter: If you are wanting to have the same name as the PTZ Controls plugin as the NDI/Source name, are you linking the PTZ camera definition to the Source entry. Here are some notes that I made for my own reference:

The installed cameras should already be defined; however, to add a DataVideo camera to PTZ Controls, use the following procedure:

• Under Scenes create the scene for the camera.
• Add a source for the camera, naming it as required and select the corresponding NDI Source as the source.
• In the PTZ Controls dock, click the gear icon (PTZ Camera Properties) to display the PTZ Device Settings.
• Click Add PTZ Device (+) and select VISCA (TCP) to display the Devices window.
• Under Devices, select VISCA/TCP: 5678 - PTZ Device, which will display the configuration parameters.
• From the Source dropdown list, select the appropriate camera definition.
• In the VISCA TCP Connection section, enter the camera IP Address, and in TCP Port, enter 1259.
• Click Apply to update the entry.

The camera entry should now be shown in the PTZ Controls dock, and when selected, the camera should respond to the various manipulations.

This is what works for me - your mileage may vary.
