Bug Report Cannot add global source...

Hello i was having trouble with my Elgato this morning with OBS it was constantly saying 'No Device" but i could open up the elgato game cap software and it had no problem so it led me to believe that obs was having trouble with the device...

I thought that if i removed the global source and re set it back up it that it would fix my problem but now i have an even bigger issue...

Whenever i try to add my Elgato as a global source it says "A Global source using this device already exsist"

This simply isnt correct because when i look at my global sources it only shows my webcam and that is it...

I have closed and reopened OBS
I have reset my computer
I have uninstalled and reinstalled OBS
I have deleted my profiles and reset them up
and even deleted all my scenes and set them back up

NONE OF THESE THINGS FIX IT!

after some more fiddling i found that if you remove all of your global sources then you can re add the elgato once again... Now lets hope it recognizes the device again

This does confirm something for me that I suspected for a while now -- there even when you change scenes, remove sources, etc, etc, etc in some cases deprecated information does linger.

It shouldn't leave any traces if you deleted it from all your scenes. If it does it then please copy/paste your %appdata%\obs\scenes.xconfig file here if posisble (it's just text).

After, closing the app, deleting that file, then restarting should help, will get rid of all your scenes but should fix the problem if it's there.
