Question / Help Cannot achieve similar results with Vegas

Hi, after recording high quality video with OBS, I export it to Vegas for editing. I use a x264vfw preset with 12mbps ABR and "slow" preset.

Rendering the video with Vegas takes much longer than the actual recording did (realtime versus 3x slower).

Quality sucks (about 20% visible decrease in quality)

Does anyone please know how to achieve quickly rendered high quality video with Vegas similar to what OBS produces?

Vegas sucks at H.264 encoding. Instead render an intermediate file out of Vegas using lossless avi, or one of the other lossless or near-lossless formats, then run that intermediate file through Handbrake.

I love handbrake. Didn't know it was a Vegas problem, I though that it's a solid software but it let me down several times in the past.
