Question / Help Cannot access Mixer - gear icon missing

I need to reconfigure which audio tracks record to which channels (mic audio and game audio).

But when I try and access the mixer, the gear icon is missing.

Maybe it's a super easy fix, but I am very confused.

Thank you so much! That worked

Second question if anyone still is reading (otherwise I'll post a new thread).

I can't seem to get my audio to record correctly. For a while I had audio input and output recording to the same track...but I want to record mic audio and desktop audio separately.

When I have them both to separate channels, it records the mic but NOT the desktop. What am I doing wrong?

What seems to happen is stuff will work, then suddenly will break and discontinue working. It goes from desktop audio working and mic not working, to vice versa.

I don't understand

How are you checking it? Media players won't play all tracks at the same time.
Whatever default media player windows 10 has.

That's a good point but what's weird is that the first time it played both tracks, then after that - no dice.

I'll try importing what appear to be the "non working" videos into premiere to check but I'm not hopeful

Oh man thank you!

The game audio is really quiet when previewing (although I should try and find VLC that doesn't infect my computer).

Maybe this other file from last time will help...I got audio but then it completely cut out both game and voice partway through

Honestly this app irritates me a lot sometimes. I got the voice track and game track to work together, but the voice track is way way too quiet now. Again.
