After about 2.5 hours of recording a video game, I exited the game and ended the recording. 10-20 seconds later, I closed OBS and it popped up a message that said something to the effect of "If you close now, your file may be corrupted. Wait another 15 seconds?" with two options: Yes or No. Assuming "No" would close the program and immediately corrupt the video file, I clicked yes. So 15 seconds later, it closed and corrupted my video.
So I have two requests: Firstly, some sort of notification that the software is still processing the video file, such as a progress bar. Secondly, a Cancel button so that I can choose to let OBS stay open and process as long as it wants. Much to my dismay, it appears that I will be unable to recover that lengthy and entertaining segment of recording.
