Question / Help Can you write subtitles on the recorded video?

Hello - I'm new here. I need to record my screen so that I can demonstrate how to use my website. I would like to then type instructions as subtitles at the bottom, so that I can give clear instructions. All advice very welcome - thank you, Alex

This is something for postprocessing, not a job for OBS. You can add subtitles as subtitle track with a postprocessing software that supports it (this will not recode your video, so no quality loss). In case you upload your video to Youtube, Youtube provides means of adding comments and subtitles for uploaded videos as well.
