Question / Help Can you use Open Broadcaster Output to stream through flash?

I'm trying to get my browser (and flash) to recognize my setup as a webcam. I have a camcorder set up and video to Open Broadcaster. I'd like the output of that to be able to stream through flash. How do I get flash to recognize this setup as a webcam?

Here are the details:

Asus G750jm
Windows 8.1

- Camera Panasonic camcorder hc-v720
- hooked up to an Elgato Game Capture HD through hdmi.

I can get video to the Elgato software, and also to Open Broadcaster. Flash does not see it as a webcam.

Is there a way to use the Open Broadcaster software as streaming output that will be recognized by flash? Get the computer to recognize it?

I've been trying to figure this out for days and not even sure this is the right place to ask.

I have essentially the same question.
My setup:

lenovo x140e
Windows 7
Camera: Canon VIXIA HF100
Elgato Game Capture HD (hdmi through)

I can get video feed in OBS and the standard Elgato software. Browser and flash can't see it as a device.

My computer recognizes "Game Capture HD" under Devices and Printers (as "Unspecified")
(Hope this reply bumps the thread so we can see if anyone has a solution)
