Can you skip video forward ?

Hi,
how can i skip video forward when editing/recording?

What video? Where? Are you playing one as a source and want to skip that? Do you want to pause and resume recording, so the result is as if you spliced two recordings together? What are you trying to do anyway?

When i play a basketball game i want a option to skip video that is playing in OBS. Like on YouTube when you press the right arrow you can skip 5 sec in front or back

OBS isn't a video editor. It also does not have a seek function in either of the media source types.

Well, it sorta does, but it's not nearly as functional as a standalone player or editor:

What you see there is all you get. (circled in purple) Just guess at where to click or drag the playhead to. I get the impression that it's only meant to be an *indication* of where it is, and that small amount of control just came along for the ride.
