Can window decorations be captured?

I want to capture the window decorations, in addition to their content, like spectacle-6.3.4-2.fc42 can:

I've posted ideas.obsproject.com/posts/2873/provide-a-way-to-capture-window-decorations-on-linux-oses, but I'd like to confirm here that it's definitely not available. I realise that I can crop, but that's inequivalent, since it doesn't dynamically adapt to the size and decorations of the window.
