Can someone help me with my recording audio sounding like I'm speaking into a tin can?

Hey all!

I've been tweaking settings in OBS to try and get best recording options for video. At some point I must have tweaked an audio setting unintentionally because my audio went from sounding very clean:

To sounding very gross

I have disabled the microphone in my C920 just to make sure it's not accidentally swapping to that by default instead of my recording mic (AT-2020 USB)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Noise gate goes first and then the limiter:

10:07:22.001: - filter: 'Limiter' (limiter_filter)
10:07:22.001: - filter: 'Noise Gate' (noise_gate_filter)

Second video voice sound like saturated. Reduce a little the gain of the mic (probably in windows mic sound settings) until you get it right.

Can you ELI5 the gate first, limiter second? I'll try the gain and report back. Just weird how it randomly started when I've never touched the gain between videos one and two
