Trouble of configuring 2 same brand but different model webcam. OBS can see 2 cameras but only can configure one. Configured one but the other go blank. Is it because they are using the same driver? Anyway to get around?

Yes, it is I'm using a C270, C8920, and C922
Just make sure they are on different USB hubs Two 1080p cams can overload the bandwidth of a USB hub

The problem isn't the multiple cameras at the same time in general.
It's that the usb capabilities of their computer can't handle multiple cameras at the same time.

I used a mac before and only had one usb port where I connected a usb hub and my two camera and my mic were connected to that usb hub

I think it may be a bit more complicated than that. I encountered this problem right off and have been looking for a solution.
We are running two OBSBot cameras using a laptop (with limited USB ports) [Intel 11th gen i7 with windows 11 pro] and need to use a hub. Plugging the camera's into the hub, other programs seemed to recognize them and were able to control them (the OBSBot software in particular). But OBS Studio, although seeing them would not show any input from either. Unplugging one and mounting it on another USB port (or USB Hub in a different port) and immediately had video in OBS Studio! This is a huge pending problem... they are putting fewer and fewer "plugs" on laptops, expecting that the users will use a hub... for not only USB devices but card readers, eithernet connections, hdmi connections, wireless mouse...!

To have OBS Studio need a configuration of only one camera per USB port will be a serious problem.

A question to anyone out there... have they tried connecting multiple cameras to a powered hub? Anyone have any thoughts on whether that would help?
