Trouble of configuring 2 same brand but different model webcam. OBS can see 2 cameras but only can configure one. Configured one but the other go blank. Is it because they are using the same driver? Anyway to get around?
Yes they are on the same USB hub as I only have one USB port on my notebook. Are you using USB hubs at all?
I only have one USB port on my notebook, so I have to use a USB hub. The cams are 720pYes, it is I'm using a C270, C8920, and C922
Just make sure they are on different USB hubs Two 1080p cams can overload the bandwidth of a USB hub
Then any suggestion how can I use multi cams if I only have one usb port on my notebook? The use of the usb hub is what's ultimately breaking things. webcams take a lot of usb bandwidth, and having them on a hub means there's only enough for one.
I used a mac before and only had one usb port where I connected a usb hub and my two camera and my mic were connected to that usb hubThe problem isn't the multiple cameras at the same time in general.
It's that the usb capabilities of their computer can't handle multiple cameras at the same time.
That was you and that was on macI used a mac before and only had one usb port where I connected a usb hub and my two camera and my mic were connected to that usb hub
I think it may be a bit more complicated than that. I encountered this problem right off and have been looking for a solution. The problem isn't the multiple cameras at the same time in general.
