Wondering if anyone is having the same issue and might have a solution. Here is the situation:
I stream on Twitch and currently I am obviously using OBS. OBS is set to accept audio from my speakers and can transmit audio from Discord, Teamspeak, iTunes, and game play sounds. All of these are coming through the same channel into my speakers (headphones). Spotify is also playing over my speakers and I can hear the music, BUT when I use it with OBS the audio is not being broadcasted to Twitch.
I was using Virtual Audio Cable, but after speaking with several people who are also using OBS and Spotify together without it, I decided to remove the software. (It was causing some odd issues with Overflows through the three channels which I could not get fixed.).
Has anyone come across a simular situation? I've looked through the settings of Spotify but I don't see an option to set a channel the audio is going over. I haven't been able to find a possible windows setting that might have spotify redirecting the audio to a different channel, but I might have missed something. OBS does not have a way to single out the audio content to possibly redirect Spotify to the right channel either. I hope it is something simple that ia m just over looking, so if anyone has seen this issue before and has a solution please let me know. Spotify is a great service, but since i mainly got it for the purpose of streaming on Twitch, I'd hate to get rid of it because I can't get the audio to work.
Thanks ahead of time for the help.
