Question / Help Can my computer run OBS at all?

Hello,

I just installed OBS today, so I decided to test it with Play Tetris, but every recording I try, the video is a slide show.
Here are my specs,

Dell Inspiron 3537
CPU: Intel(R) Celeron(R) 2955U @ 1.40GHz、1400 Mhz
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics
Memory: 4GB
Display: 1366 x 768

If my pc can run obs, what settings should I use for streaming and recording, thanks.

Don't bother. Even if it will run, it won't perform in a usable manner

Honestly, with a 1.4GHz processor (dear God, that's horrible), and only 4GB of RAM, I'm not sure there's much out there you can actually use.

Your PC is a potato. If it can even run games, I would be surprised. Trying to run a game and recording software? Godspeed.

My computer is also a bit of a potato but from what I can tell more powerful then the person that wrote the original question. So I will ask the same question. My specs as follow:

Processor: intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770S CPU @ 3.10GHz. 3.10GHz

RAM: 4.00GB

Think it will run simple game recording? I don’t plan on playing anything too intensive.
