The best settings depend on your computer's hardware specifically, but generally you can get some good settings to use from the estimator: https://obsproject.com/estimator
(Note that some of those settings may not appear on the mac version -- if you don't see the settings then feel free to ignore it, though the downscale resolution should be used with the scaled resolution in video settings)
