Question / Help Can I use a internet stream as source

Hi,

The october 19, I will host a viewing Party for the League of Legends Finales at my town movie theater.

I have a partnership with a local Web-TV (i'm from France) to use their Dailymotion broadcast at the Viewing Party. My problem is I have no idea how to import the URI stream into OBS as a source.

What I want is to avoid the Internet Browser Use and directly get the video.

If you know any plugin, manipulation or anything who can help me, I take it !

There is no way to grab a stream directly as a source, but you might have luck using the VLC/Livestreamer method, and capturing from VLC. http://livestreamer.readthedocs.org/en/latest/

Out of curiosity, why/how are you using OBS for this? Do be aware that if you are re-streaming the League tournament itself, it would be considered copyright infringement unless you have permission from the organizing body of the tournament.
