Hello, ive been trying to stream League with OBS to some succes, my problem is that it seems like my laptop is a bit weak but i might just have bad settings.
Heres my specs:
Asus X552c
Intel i3
geforce 710m
6gb ram
64gb ssd

So my question really is if ill be able to stream with an okay quality without high decrease in gaming quality?

its not really recommended streaming with a laptop.

if the i3 supports qsv and the laptop doesnt make any fuzz and just eats the multi adapter (capturing games etc.) then it might work. (still not recommended since x264>all)

So ive come accross quicksync now, i know x264 is what most people use but couldnt i use qicksync and reduce hardware usage to get more performance ingame? it might be completlely silly but im just asking things as they come to me :D

Yes, but hardware encoding (NVENC, VCE, QSV... though QSV is the best of the lot) is much lower-quality compression. So it'll either look worse, or take significantly more bitrate to stream at the same visual fidelity. Then again, as you're on an i3, that's the exact kind of setup that hardware encoders are meant to be a band-aid for.

As far as local recordings, that's easier:
