Question / Help Can I stream with these PC settings?

I have an ultrabook not a gaming or media pc. I know it's not ideal and i'm not expecting to stream 1080p at 60fps here. What I am hoping for is to stream at at least 720p w/30fps. Is this doable on a pc with:

Intel Core i5-3337u processor (1.7ghz, turbo up to 2.6ghx)
Intel 4000 HD Graphics
4 GB DDR3 1600mhz RAM.
128GB SSD HD

Internet: Paying for 50mbps/5mbps (actually receiving consistent 36-44mbps download, 4mbps upload)

Also of note, I am looking to stream xbox fps's such as COD and Battlefield, so i'm not running the games on the machine i'm streaming on if this matters. Using a Roxio HD Capture Pro.

Easiest way to know is to just try it. Use http://obsproject.com/estimator to get some initial settings.

Also, there are some Roxio devices that don't work with OBS, FYI.

I'm not 100% sure on that CPU, actually. Any particular instruction set extensions OBS uses? Have a look at his CPU -- http://ark.intel.com/products/72055/

480@30 should be possible maybe even 720@25 :x but its going to really use your whole cpu.

finally i found someone who buys those cpus :D an i3 for more money because its an i5 WHOOOOT

Thanks for the input guys. If anyone else uses the "U" (ultrabook) designatyed GPU's with streming please reply!

alpinelol: lol, for real man. I'm waiting to upgrade to a Haswell processor when more ultrabooks get them in. That should help me make up for using a "U" processor hopefully. That and Intel HD 4400 graphics.
