Can I stream pre recorded videos ?

Hi all,

I have some videos stored on my PC, and they also are on Youtube.

Can I set the source to the directory where my videos are stored and OBS will play them? or can I point it to my YouTube channels so it streams them?

So I am not streaming live, but pre recorded.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

I managed to set my source to my videos. Nos I am having a problem "connecting to server" ... I am using these settings:

To broadcast your own stream, you’ll need to use a streaming app like OBS Studio (Open Broadcaster Software, which is free and open-source). If you are using OBS, in the Stream settings set your Service to ‘Custom’, your Server to “rtmp://localhost:1935/stream/”, and make up a Stream Key (any string should work).

Any suggestions?
