Yes, you can stream with this pc. Streaming is mostly based on your internet provider so if you have cheap internet it most likely won't work as well.Hey im about to buy a new pc
will this be good for streaming at least 720p?
And also recording 1080p?
Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5-6400
GPU: 4GB Nvidia GTX 745
RAM: 8 GB
NOTE: Im mostly gonna stream my PS4 via Elgato
Streaming is not anymore based on your connection speed. Today almost everyone has 3mbit/s upload most of the time. More important is the hardware which has to run a game and has to stream in the same moment.Yes, you can stream with this pc. precisely what i mean't to say.Streaming is not anymore based on your connection speed. Today almost everyone has 3mbit/s upload most of the time. More important is the hardware which has to run a game and has to stream in the same moment.
If you have a 1080p display then probably. Thanks guys :) Will i also be able to stream 1080p just in case?
Should be good enough for streaming. And i have like 13 upload speed
Sorry but what dp you mean about 1080p display? If you have a 1080p display then probably.
You can only stream 1080p if you have a 1080p display.Sorry but what dp you mean about 1080p display?
But what does it mean to have a 1080p display? You can only stream 1080p if you have a 1080p display.
No, an i5 should not even try 1080p streaming. downscale to 720p would be best. even 1080@30 will be to much for your CPU with most games. Thanks guys :) Will i also be able to stream 1080p just in case?

second 1080@30 needs bitrate that will often cause buffering for viewers. This has nothing to do with your connection. for instance, I have 1Gbps up and down. I still stream at 2800 bitrate to keep my viewers from buffering. YMMV.
give it a try and see then. i'm not going to say yes it can but dedicated an i5 is alright, but note that scaling is done on the GPU to which your GPU is somewhat weak. It might be alright but again, when you try, post your log after.Yeah i thought so.. But im actually mostly gonna stream my PS4 via elgato so i wouldt be playing games on my pc
All right i would do. I just need to buy the PC first of all:)give it a try and see then. i'm not going to say yes it can but dedicated an i5 is alright, but note that scaling is done on the GPU to which your GPU is somewhat weak. It might be alright but again, when you try, post your log after.
