Question / Help Can I stream H1Z1 720p with my computer?

Usually my computer can handle playing h1z1 in full maxed settings in 1080p with 50-60fps no issue. When it comes to streaming, on my stream the game freezes every time I move and I pull 30-40fps so I am really confused on why it skips frames at 30-40fps when im streaming at 720p on ultrafast. Quite confusing for me but here are my pc specs:

PC SPECS:
- AMD FX 8350 4GHZ (CPU)
- GTX 1050 OC (GPU)
- 16GB DDR3 (RAM)

UPLOAD SPEED: 9 MBPS

Please post a link to a clean log file. To make a clean log file, first restart OBS, then start your stream/recording for ~30 seconds and stop it again. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc. When you're done select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Copy the URL and paste it here.

Few things I see here.

First:
Code:
19:54:44.050: bitrate: 2500
19:54:44.050: buffer size: 3500

Don't use a custom buffer. That's just asking for problems.

Second:

Code:
19:55:42.249: Output 'adv_stream': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 270 (15.5%)

This means that your GPU is overloaded. Make sure that you're capping FPS in your game at a value that your PC can hold stable to avoid this kind of issue.

And last, and probably most important here:

Code:
19:55:42.716: Video stopped, number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 923/987 (93.5%)

This means that your CPU is basically unable to keep up with streaming. Try keeping an eye on your CPU usage before OBS is even opened, and try to reduce the load the game is putting on your CPU. You have an older CPU that wasn't exactly the greatest when it was new. Verify that Windows Game Mode and DVR are both disabled, and try running 64bit OBS instead of the 32bit that you are now.

Please do not post in someone else's thread asking for help on an unrelated issue. It is considered extremely poor forum etiquette.

Hey, Just a quick update...
I tried to use my GPU using the "NVENC H.264" encoder and its not as choppy as using my CPU but it still is lagging a tiny bit. What are the best settings for the gpu encoder if im using the GTX 1050 graphics card. Want quality as well as performance but I could sacrifice quality if needed :)

Here are my current settings:View attachment upload_2017-9-13_20-42-14.png

For high-quality, no fuss recordings, use the recording quality presets under Settings > Output when in Simple output mode. In the recording section, change the Recording Quality to Indistinguishable Quality, and then select your encoder.
