Can I stream a playlist of local files?

Media source allows me to play local, pre-made files on OBS whenever I'm livestreaming. I don't need that feature whenever I'm recording for a Youtube video, since I can just put the local files in the video when I go to edit. But when I'm livestreaming, I can't do that.

Does OBS allow me to (A) play an entire playlist of local files, and (B) end the stream immediately after the playlist finishes?

I have a feeling that each of those features would be stand-alone, and I would simply use each feature in conjunction with each other.

But is there any way for me to do either or both?

If you have VLC installed on your system (videolan.org) OBS will automatically detect it and enable the VLC Video Source, which allows playlists. There is no way to auto-end at the end of the playlist though.
You could probably set up the Advanced Scene Switcher to start a delay when switching to a scene (with your video playlist source, and math out the delay to be the length of your videos in the list) then swap to another scene. Then you could use the Hotkey Source plugin on that destination scene to press a key combination you've bound to 'stop streaming' in the hotkey codex.
