I love to play games while listening music or radio. But, I don't want to record those music in my video, because I can't upload them to YouTube. Is there any way to record only the audio of the game? Many thanks.

Thanks for your reply. I would like to ask more if possible please. I'm totally clueless about this.

Say, I run Starcraft 2 and VLC Media Player at the same time. How can I make sure that I record only the audio of Starcraft 2 only, and not record the VLC Media Player.

Use voicemeeter or voicemeeter bananna. (Both free)

You set vlc to output to one of the virtual cables they come with. you then send the output of the virtual.audio cable to your speakers or headphone so you can hear your music while you play

But in obs you only record you game and mot the output of the virtual cable which is your music.

In the guide linked, thay use VoiceMeeter Banana, an audio mixer.

You can configure VLC sound output as VoiceMeeter Aux Output or a Virtual Audico cable -downloadable from VoiceMeeter Web also)

Without Voicemeeter I´m not sure you can separate VLC audio from PC audio
