Hey guys!
I have a dell inspiron 15 7000 (7951) with an Intel core i7 9750H 8GB ram GTX 1650 Intel UHD 630. I was wondering if I can record fortnite at a smooth 1080p 60 frames without my PC getting too hot/slow. Although i could use Nvidia Experience, there is a problem in the file format (Adobe Premiere Pro does not support .mkv, so I turned to OBS) , and it is always too big (usually around 8-10 GB) for online converters and i do not want to use money.

Edit: I don't want to stream, just record for youtube

Gaming laptops are designed to run just the game. Running a high intensive CPU application like OBS with x264 encoding alongside it, you may see high temperature and CPU utilization. The only way to know is to try with your specific requirements.

- Your Inspiron 15 7000 should have a GTX 1050Ti GPU onboard. Download GeForce Experience and install the current GPU drivers.
- There is an HDMI port on your laptop. Connect a HDMI monitor with HDMI cable.
- Download and run CPUID HWMonitor.
- Move HWMonitor's window onto this monitor so you can see system temp and utilization while you play on laptop screen
- Run OBS using NVENC new encoder, not x264. Place it on the secondary monitor.
- Run Fortnite fullscreen on your laptop screen
- Watch CPU Utilization and Core temperatures
