Question / Help Can I natively fade scrolling text?

I added a Text (GDI+) source to my scene with a scroll filter. I want the text to fade where the text originates and exits within the source boundary box. Is there a way yo do this natively in OBS? I tried a few filters but couldn't get anything to work. I'm not entirely opposed to a third-party method if there is a plugin or program for this.

Use the Image Mask/Blend filter. All you need to do is make an image that has white areas for the bits you want to show normally, and fade it to black for the parts you want faded out.

Thank you, I will give that a try. I had a similar alternative in mind I would do in Photoshop, but this sounds better.
