Can I just record a screen capture video - e.g. for training?

Hi there, stooooopid question. I normally used Camtasia to record training videos but my new company uses OBS Studio. I can't find a way to just start a recording in OBS. Am I missing something basic? Can I screen-capture record directly from OBS or is it only just an editing app?

Yes, it can record (no editing or offline processing). Kindly ask the people in your new company for a first introduction in OBS. If they used OBS in the past already, someone should know how to.

Otherwise you may use Youtube. There are introductorial videos available.
