Question / Help Can I integrate WhatsApp in OBS

Can I integrate Whatsapp in OBS . I want to use WhatsApp during a live stream in you tube. I’ve yes how can I do this.

You can use Whatsapp Web with your browser or as standalone app on your PC and capture this with OBS.
Or you can use some screen sharing app to mirror your Smartphone screen to the PC. I use scrcpy for my Android phone: https://github.com/Genymobile/scrcpy

Unfortunately, Whatsapp Web only works with GoogleChrome 60+. I suspect obs browser is pretty outdated. Would be also great if OBS browser can be used to open google meetings (might sound stupid for those who didn't know the purpose).

You can just install and capture the standalone Whatsapp Web desktop application from https://www.whatsapp.com/download/

Hmm yeah that kinda solve the problem. Anyway the browser also didn't support google meet because it detects that the browser blocked camera and microphone. I wanted to capture google meet on obs without a window capture layer (because I will capture multiple google meet window with 2 person pinned on each OBS browser, thus making my PC more resource efficient and easy to control)

OBS' browser components are based on CEF 75 for the record.
