Question / Help Can I include my mic in my stream, but not the recording?

I was wondering if it were possible to include game video, audio and mic to the live stream, but in the local recording not record the mic? Talking to viewers is only relevant during the stream and so I would like not to include it if I later upload the footage to another video website.

My source set up is:
Video - Capture Card
Game Audio - Line in
Microphone - USB

Any help is appreciated.

You unfortunately would have to create a seperate recording that does not include your Microphone in this case. With a second instance of OBS this would be doable. At the same time this instance could record at a different quality setting. So for example if you stream with 720p, you could record in 1080 (if your hardware allows it).
If you have a hardware encoder available (quicksync/nvenc) you could use it on the second instance to free up CPU ressources.
