Hello Forum,

Was wondering if I can improve my stream with what I have?

Here's my log: http://pastebin.com/caKsCGdx

Here's my video from log: http://www.twitch.tv/jamesvista/c/3070814

Please note, my cpu is actually overclocked a little bit. 4770k @ 4.2GHz. Not sure why system shows it at like 801MHz but can confirm that it's 4.2GHz below..

Stream to me doesn't look as clear as some other streamers. I would like to improve this. Is it my internet speed? My settings? Thanks.

There is a ridiculous amount of stuff going on in that video, not a whole lot you are going to be able to do.

You really need to change to CBR, as per the new Twitch guidelines.

You can *probably* lower the encoding preset to Faster or Fast with that CPU, but I can't guarantee it won't kill your FPS in game.

MMO/FPS games are generally hard to encode. For MMOs there are generally lots of spell effects and the full scene is almost always in motion. FPS games are very fast paced, with near constant high motion. There's a certain amount of artifacting you're just going to have to live with.

In all honesty, your image looks very good considering the amount of sheer "stuff" happening on screen.

Thanks for replying. I gave the CBR a shot and it does look a bit better now. Just, local recording looks so much better than when I stream. I guess I won't be able to achieve that kind of quality while streaming, bummer.
