Question / Help Can I Hotkey Scenes?

Just a very quick question, can I set a hotkey to enable/disable a scene on the fly, and if I can, how would I do so? I want to play a metagame during one of my streams and have the app visible on stream when I'm using it. Having to open OBS and enable it every time and disable it is a bit tedious and breaks the flow of the stream, whereas with a hotkey I can alt-tab, hit one key so people can see what I'm doing, and good to go.

I think you mean a hotkey to de-activate/activate a source in this case, but you can actually use the Hotkey for a Scene.
First you create a duplicate of your current scene, for example call it Metagame, then you activate the source on this scene and deactivate it on your original scene.
Right-click Scene1 and use "Set Hotkey", then do this for the Metagame Scene, and now you can switch between the two with the hotkeys as soon as you want to play it.

Hm, there is no option to set hotkey when I right-click a source.

Edit - Whoops, I'm looking at the source not the scene. Thanks!

Hm, my chat overlay resets every time I swap scenes. Is there something else I could use that won't reconnect when swapping scenes?

You could try adding the chat overlay as a global source, that way it should stay active when you switch.
