Hello everyone,
Because Open Broadcaster Software recieved such good reviews, I decided to use it for my new YouTube channel.

NowI have a question. Will I be able to edit the OBS videos in software such as Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere? Likewise, can I import any video clips such as a video intro ( is there a name for that), into OBS?

Thank you for your help.

The latest version of Premiere should be able to handle OBS output files in an MP4 container. FLV files will probably need to be remuxed to MP4 or some other supported container format.

CFR checkbox, I believe in Advanced.
Normally OBS can use an adaptive framerate, but a lot of editors pitch a fit if there aren't X frames a second, every second of the video. I think VirtualDub can edit adaptive rate videos, but most of the big ones just fall over and explode (so to speak) if they don't get what they expect.

Record to .FLV video, and remux to MP4. FLV is a more robust container format, and if OBS crashes you only lose 3-5 seconds of video. MP4 turns to unrecoverable digital garbage if the file isn't closed out properly, and can lead to high CPU usage just in recording, from my experience.
