I want to display just the upper half, making the output image twice as wide as usual. Is this possible in any way? I'm willing to use 3rd party software if necessary. One thought that comes to mind is use a Skype video call with myself and then screen cap the bits I want. Sounds dirty tho.

"...been suggested." Does that mean there's no way to do it yet? I discovered the Shift thing earlier today by accident but I don't think that will work for this. II want the same aspect just only showing half the camera.

Not really mine only seems to be open while using the Configure command on the C260. On the HP4110 I can't even switch to that output without losing a zoom function that is already set. (specific zooming tab has to be main focus for zoom to work) BTW the HP4110 is worse than the C260 despite claims of 1080p over 720p if anyone is shopping around. I paid about $10 more thinking I was upgrading but I got a lemon. The logitech 720p cam has better color authenticity and better framerate. The resolution difference isn't even noticeable at streamer sized window settings.

Hadn't seen that but yes I've played with all the sliders and used that common sense. It's just a bad product, something that has been happening to me a lot on ebay lately. The Logitech c260 720p was $23 and is pretty good. HP4110 is 1080p supposedly and $34 but really junk by comparison.
