Question / Help Can I both select and transition-to a scene with one Hotkey?

Is there a way to both select a scene with that Hotkey and transition to that scene (with the same Hotkey)?

Using a hotkey to switch to a scene will transition to that scene using its default transition.

What it's doing for me is selecting the right scene, but though it's now selected it is not live yet and will need a second keystroke. I'm trying to do both with one keystroke.
The Hotkey I entered is for 'Switch to Scene'.

you need to turn off studio mode for this to work , but you can use the same hotkey in transition and the scene in studio mode


Just noticed your on a mac my information may not be valid I was thinking windows.

Thanks Harvey. That did the trick. I didn't realize I was in studio mode. I usually do my live stuff in studio mode so I can prep the next shot, but for this thing I'm doing I won't need to prep.
