Trying to salvage a $400 spend to get this steamy turd to act like a remotely decent web/streamcam. GoPro tech support = crap, and no Holy Grail of an answer on YouTube. Nothing helping yet. Please, and thank you!
Can anyone please help with audio/video lag use Hero 9 Black as a webcam?

If there is desync between audio and video you should determine which is more out of the sync from the other. To do this use an audio/video sync test and record the video with the gopro into obs and the audio from the video with the mic that you want to use. Then use the markings to determine how much to off sync either the video or audio is. You can add audio delay in the advanced audio panel, you can add video delay by adding a render delay filter on the specific source ex. your camera.

Do you have a computer powerful enough to do real-time video encoding, which is VERY computationally demanding.
Are you monitoring hardware resource (CPU, GPU, RAM, etc) utilization [for ex. using Task manager’s Performance tab and/or Resource Monitor] to see if your system is being maxed out with your OS & OBS settings, and maybe it isn't the camera at all?
