Question / Help Camtasia, "Unsupported Media Type or Required Codecs are Not Found"?

Hello all,

Yesterday, I was doing a stream on twitch.tv using OBS and went to upload it to YouTube, (Saved it to file as well) and the error came up. It said that it could not load the file because it was an unsupported media type or required codecs are not found. When I used to use other recorders, Camtasia loaded the files fine, so what did I do wrong with OBS?

Thanks

You weren't able to upload the recorded .flv file either? The error sounds like you're trying to play it back in an old media player. Try playing it in VLC.

The weird part is when I play it back in a normal player, everything works fine. But when I try to import it into Camtasia Studio 8, it gives me the error code. Also, this is going to sound stupid, but, where is the .flv file? It only shows up as an MP4 for me
