Cameras keep disappearing

I keep losing my cameras while live streaming, and nothing but restarting my machine will fix it - i've tried unplugging/replugging the cameras, disabling/re-enabling in OBS, etc. It happens to me periodically. I've tried troubleshooting but still happening. Weird thing is, one of the cameras is on a USB hub - and when it happens, the other device on the hub still works fine (my mouse).

All drivers are up to date. Tried getting rid of my Emote Wall (browser source) for Twitch. Not lagging (that i can tell) while live streaming. A friend of mine even suggested it might be Static Electricity so I removed the carpet from my studio. I can tell as soon as it happens, because the preview in OBS gets all wonky. I had a screenshot but it got cleared from my clipboard before I could save it. Best way I can describe it, the preview screen cuts in half (ie, shrinks by 50% width). Stream doesn't shut down, OBS doesn't crash. No lagging on end-user side. I just lose both cameras (front and birdseye view).

I'm at a loss, any help/suggestions appreciated.

Is it just with the cam on the USB hub disconnecting
It's best to have cam directly plugged into the computer Preferably on their own USB controller Especially if 1080p or higher or 720p on USB2 Controller

It starts with the one on the USB Hub...then within a few minutes, the other one goes out too (opposite side of laptop, directly plugged in). Thanks for the suggestion, I have done that and will see what happens. I also downloaded a program called "USB View" and learned that all of my USB ports are on the same Root Hub. I also have a USB-C port, which is technically on a different Root Hub. So I moved one of the cameras there and ditched the USB Hub. *Fingers crossed*
