hello how do i get my camera to connect im using my lap top ?
also how do i use facebook with OBS

What have you tried already? What sort of camera? Have you check the manufacturer's instructions?
Did you do a web search for "set up obs for facebook stream"? There are loads of guides.

Many kind of cameras can be connected, except old DV (firewire) cam, but you can use "ManyCam" software to solve this problem, also you can use a "usb capture device" and you will have you cam in OBS (sorry for my poor english)
