Camera Smooth, but Window Capture (zoom) CHOPPY

Hello,
I am trying to stream &/or record a group of us meeting on Zoom.
The Audio is stellar, no issue there.

BUT the video is choppy. Only the Zoom video. I have tested this by turning on and capturing myself directly from the Macbook Pro camera.
details...

I am capturing each participant from zoom using a window capture, and shrinking it down to only capture their "square"
then I place that person underneath the overlay layer. I only have 4 people max, plus myself.

I'll upload logs sometime tomorrow... but any ideas at what I might be doing wrong. Some best practices for recording Zoom that I'm missing?
The video appears fine live on Zoom.

27:48 shows me on the left. Smoke is fluid. Other guy is choppy.

Hi,

I'm having the same problem, only I WAS testing by putting Zoom on a second display.

I'm looking to just have myself and one guest. I have a CamLink 4K bringing in my DSLR on myself, and using Zoom for my guest.

I look great (technically speaking!) but the feed for my guest through Zoom is very choppy, and there's an almost 3 second delay.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ben
