I'm using an El Gato Cam Link with a Canon Vixia HF R800.
I noticed while playing Dishonored, my camera input would freeze every minute or two -- the output of the camcorder's looked fine, and switching back over to OBS to hide/show the camera source fixes it until it freezes again in another minute.
After testing with other games, I decided it was something with Dishonored that was messing with it, so I played some Little Nightmares. Camera was fine for about 50 minutes, then it froze -- I fixed it, and it was fine for the remainder of the stream (about 2 more hours after that).
So, as it seems that Dishonored isn't specifically causing it, it certainly does cause it at a much shorter interval.
The only thing that stands out as different in Dishonored, is that while using a Game Capture for Dishonored, my OBS log has a bunch of messages like this:
I've tried various settings such as messing with the Windows 10 game mode stuff and even setting my 144hz monitor back to 60hz.
Little Nightmares OBS log is attached.
Does anyone have ANY idea what might be causing this? I'd love to get this sorted out.
Thanks.
