Question / Help "Camera Controls" greyed out?

When I add a webcam to an OBS scene (as a "Video Capture Device") and go to Configure -> Camera Control, everything there is greyed out. This is the case for both my cheap USB webcam, and the one built into my laptop. Neither of them really have any drivers installed; just whatever Windows grabbed.

Is this window just for cameras that have mechanical zooms/focuses? Or does my webcam need drivers or something? All I'm trying to do is zoom in. I can enlarge the viewing window with Edit Scene and make it be the bottom layer of the scene, but it'd be nice if I could at least crop it.

The window is driver-specific. Each vendor can implement their own custom configure window or use a default one provided by windows with basic settings. Sometimes they don't use those settings, so it might be grayed out I suppose, but it depends on the device, and whether you've installed all of its latest drivers or not.
